This pie is super delicious. It taste as good as K&W or other cafeteria pies. I hope you will try this it is a family favorite and I make it especially on holidays and at christmas time and special family dinners. Thank you.

cocoa, unsweetened
1 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
cake flour
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1/8 tsp
3 Tbsp
hot water
eggs, beaten
1 can(s)
12 oz. evaporated milk
1 oz
chopped pecans
2 oz
shredded coconut
9 inch unbaked pie shell

How to Make German Chocolate Pie


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2Whip Sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, flour, vanilla extract, salt, and hot water until smooth.
  • 3Stir in eggs, and milk(can milk)
  • 4Mix well and pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • 5Top with pecans and coconut.
  • 6Bake 50 to 60 minutes (center will be a little fudgy).
  • 7Cool before cutting
