Ingredients
- 4 ounces bakers german sweet chocolate
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 2/3 cups pet evaporated milk
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
How To Make german chocolate pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Step 2Melt Chocolate and Butter together

Step 3Gradually blend in pet milk, set aside.

Step 4Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt together.

Step 5Beat in eggs and vanilla

Step 6Gradually blend Chocolate mixture to sugar mixture.

Step 7Stir in Pecans and Coconut

Step 8Pour into unbaked pie shell.

Step 9Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes, until puffed and brown.

Step 10Filling will be soft but will set while cooling.
