Ingredients
- 2 - squares of unsweetened chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 - eggs
- 3/4 cup dark karo syrup
- 1 cup pecan halves
- CRUST
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup +1 tbsp.butter flavored crisco
- 2 tablespoons cold water
How To Make fudgy-brownie pecan pie

Step 1Blend flour, salt, Crisco with pastry cutter or fork into a mealy consistency. Add water, mix with a fork and mold into a patty. Refrigerate for about 1/2 hour.

Step 2Roll into a circle and form into your pie dish. (I spray with no-stick first) Fold under and decorate your edge.

Step 3Beat the eggs, add remainder of ingredients. Mix well and stir in nuts. Pour into pie crust and bake at 375 for approx. 45-50 minutes or until set. Cool before cutting.
