I can't remember where I got this recipe, but I've been making it for YEARS! Always a favorite....Save room for this ONE, for sure! A little goes a long way. And although this has a cook time, it's actually a FREEZE time! This is bound to be one of your family favorites!

Ingredients
- 36 - boxed gingersnaps, crushed
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon powdered ginger
- 1 small container cool whip
- 1 jar caramel sauce
- 1 cup pecans, in pieces
How To Make frozen pumpkin pie delight

Step 1In a small bowl, mix crushed gingersnaps and melted butter. Press into a pie plate and form crust. Place in freezer.

Step 2Take softened vanilla ice cream and mix with cinnamon. Spread into cold gingersnap/butter crust. Place in freezer.

Step 3Mix pumpkin with vanilla and spices. Fold in whipped Cool Whip. Spread over icecream mixture. Place in freezer. Let harden for 2 hours.

Step 4Take out of freezer 10 minutes prior to serving and place in room air. Warm up caramel sauce. Slice pie and prior to serving, drizzle warm caramel sauce on each slice. Sprinkle with pecans.
