This is a recipe my mother has been making for quite a few years. I don't know, where she found it. But, I fell in love with this pie! My husband isn't into cranberries, so it isn't his kind of pie. So, that leaves more for me, right? ha The original has whipping cream, sugar, & vanilla. But, Mom used thawed whipped topping for convenience, instead. Take your pick.

How to Make Frozen Cranberry Cream Pie

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, until fluffy.
  2. In a small bowl, beat whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla, until soft peaks form, and add gradually, to cream cheese; beating, until smooth and creamy.
  3. Set aside a few whole cranberries, from sauce, for garnish. Then, fold sauce into whipped mixture. Spoon into pie crust.
  4. Freeze for 4 hours, or until firm. Garnish with reserved berries. Remove from freezer, 15 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
