- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 tablespoons strawberry jello
- 1 quart fresh strawberries
- 1 9" baked pie shell
How To Make fresh strawberry pie, shirley casey

Step 1Blend cornstarch and sugar. Combine slowly with water in a saucepan. Cook until thickened. Add jello, stir until dissolved. Allow to cool, but not completely cold. Clean berries and dry on paper towel. Spread berries evenly in pie shell. Pour cool mixture evenly over berries to cover all berries. Chill 2-3 hours. Serve with whipped cream or cool whip.
