  • 3
    egg yolks
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 pinch
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/4 stick
  • 2 1/2 c
  • 8 large
    peaches, sprinkle with lemon juice
  • 1 c
    powered sugar
  • 2
    9 inch baked pie shells
  • 1 pt
    sweetend whipped cream

How to Make Fresh Peach Pie


  1. With electric mixer beat eggs yolks and sugar until lemon colored. Add cornstarch, salt, vanilla. Add milk a little at a time until blended. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add 1/2 stick of butter and let cool. Toss peaches with powered sugar. Spread 1/2 of the custard in the bottom of each pie crust. Top with peaches and whip cream.
  2. Note: I use the custard in one pie and 4 large peaches.
