How to Make Fresh Blueberry Pie
- Mix together sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Mix lightly through berries. Pour berries into pastry-lined pie pan and dot with butter. I also add the vanilla to the berries. Cover with top crust. I rub a little butter on top of the crust before baking but the original recipe does not call for this. Bake 350 degrees 30-45 minutes depending on your oven. Bake until the crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust. I always sprinkle a tad of sugar on top and serve with ice cream.
