i create a fifth new sweet potato pie recipe,with a twist of french vanilla,is a style of double layer pumpkin pie,with a new french vanilla filling on the bottom of the crust.

Ingredients For french vanilla sweet potato pie.

    heavy cream
  • 1
    packet instant french vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp
    french vanilla liquid creamer
  • 1
    (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 c
    vanilla chips
  • 3
    sweet potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make french vanilla sweet potato pie.

    In a medium bowl,combine heavy cream,pudding mix,cream cheese and liquid creamer;whisk together until blended.

    Spread into bottom of the pie crust.Sprinkle with vanilla chips.Refrigerate for 4 hours.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    Bring a large saucepan of water to boil,add sweet potatoes,boil for 30 minutes.Drain well and peel them.

    Place in a large bowl,mashed with a potato masher,until the lumps are gone.

    Add margarine,sugar,milk and vanilla extract on mashed sweet potatoes.Beat with a fork until combined.

    Spoon into a prepared pie crust.

    Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes,or until the pie is set.Cool completely.
