I have been making this pie for 20 plus years, and each time I make it people just love it!!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 Large - graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 lrg - container of cool whip
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 - 8z packages 2 8oz of unsweetened chocolate squares melted
  • 4 - eggs

How To Make french silk pie

  • Step 1
    In a large mixing bowl using a electric mixer, cream butter and sugar creaming well. blend in choco-bake and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time beating 3 to 5 minutes after each addition of eggs. Spoon into the crust (If you really like chocolate you can use a chocolate crust) Top with Cool Whip, add garnish of chocolate curls or sprinkles. Chill at least 1-2 hours before serving!!

    To make the pie fuller I double the recipe!! It makes a better looking pie!!
