Ingredients
- FILLING
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 ounce chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 2 - bananas
- BAKED PIE SHELL
- 1 - pie shell, baked (scratch or bought)
- TOPPING
- - whip cream, home made, or bought
- - walnuts (optional)
How To Make french silk chocolate pie

Step 1Warm butter, gradually add in sugar creaming well.

Step 2Blend in chocolate, melted and cooled, and vanilla.

Step 3Add 2 eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each egg.

Step 4Pour 1/3 of filling into cooled baked pie shell. Slice 2 bananas (lengthwise), place on top of filling. Put remainder of filling on top of bananas.

Step 5Chill at least 1 to 2 hours.

Step 6Top with whip cream, I prefer to make my own, and add walnuts (optional).
