This pie was one of my Dad's favorites and now it is one of my Husband's. I make it every Valentine's Day.

  • 1
    prebaked 8 inch pie shell
  • 1/2 pt
    heavy whipping cream
  • 3 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 can(s)
    cherry pie filling

How to Make French Cherry Pie


  1. Bake pie crust as directed on package.
  2. Whip cream in a chilled bowl until stiff.
  3. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, add powdered sugar, extracts.
  4. Fold cream cheese mixture into whipped cream.
  5. Put cream cheese/whip cream mixture in Baked cooled pie crust.
  6. Spoon cherries on top.
    Refrigerate 24 hours.
