This pie was one of my Dad's favorites and now it is one of my Husband's. I make it every Valentine's Day.

Ingredients
- 1 - prebaked 8 inch pie shell
- 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 can cherry pie filling
How To Make french cherry pie

Step 1Bake pie crust as directed on package.

Step 2Whip cream in a chilled bowl until stiff.

Step 3Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, add powdered sugar, extracts.

Step 4Fold cream cheese mixture into whipped cream.

Step 5Put cream cheese/whip cream mixture in Baked cooled pie crust.

Step 6Spoon cherries on top. Refrigerate 24 hours.
