Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    of 2 pillsbury ready made pie crusts
  • 7-8
    baking apples,peeled,cored and sliced
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg

How to Make Flakey Apple Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. In A large Mixing Bowl,combined Cinnamon,Flour,and Nutmeg. Place 1 crust in a 10" pie plate, add apples and sugar mixture. Dot with butter. Cover with top pie crust. Seal crusts and make slits in top.Place pie crust on a cookie sheet with raised sides. This will help mimimize spillage in your oven. Brush crust with milk and sprinkle sugar on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until browned .
  2. Please keep in mind, that Apples will cook down
