Our church had Homecoming this morning and a good friend of mine made this as a dessert. It sure was good and I promptly asked for the recipe. Here it is.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Pinch - salt
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1 - 9 inch pie shell
How To Make faye's southern sweet potato pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Add potatoes, eggs, corn syrup, nutmeg, salt, butter and evaporated milk; beat well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
