eggnog cheesecake-no-bake

If you want cheesecake -but do not want to wait so long for it try this easy and quick recipe from my recipe file.. it's so creamy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar,divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup butter,melted
  • 1 package unflavored gelatin(0.25 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

How To Make eggnog cheesecake-no-bake

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl , combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, nutmeg, and butter, mix well. Press into bottom of 8-inch square or pie baking dish; set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a small saucepan, combine gelatin and water, stir over low heat for about 3 minutes,until dissolved.Remove from heat; set aside.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl of electric mixer, beat on medium the cream cheese and 1/4 cut of sugar until well blended. Stir in dissolved gelatin and eggnog until well mixed. Chill 10 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  • Step 4
    In a medium bowl, whip the cream. Fold whipped cream into eggnog mixture, then pour over the prepared crust, cover, and chill 4 hour or more before serving. Sprinkle top with a little nutmeg.
