Ingredients
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 - 9-inch pie crust
How To Make egg pie (old fashioned)

Step 1Prebake pie shell at 400 degrees for 5 minutes; set aside.

Step 2Combine butter, sugar, flour, milk, vanilla and nutmeg.

Step 3Add beaten eggs and mix well.

Step 4Cook on stove constantly until thickened.

Step 5Pour filling into prebaked pie crust. Sprinkle top with a little nutmeg. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-55 minutes. (Don't overcook)
