easy tiramisu pie

I'd like to try making this. I might substitute Lady Fingers for the vanilla wafers, as is traditional in Tiramisu. It looks simple and quick, two things I like with recipes. This one was on the back of a Cool Whip lid, the new French Vanilla flavored Season's Delight Cool Whip. Photo credit: Kraft

Ingredients

  • 48 - vanilla wafers
  • 1/4 cup brewed strong coffee
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 small package vanilla instant pudding
  • 8 ounces tub french vanilla flavored cool whip, thawed
  • 1-2 ounce semisweet chocolate, grated

How To Make easy tiramisu pie

  • Step 1
    Arrange 36 vanilla wafers on bottom and up sides of a 9" pie plate. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons coffee.
  • Step 2
    Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in milk. Add dry pudding mix; beat 1 minute. Gently stir in 2 cups Cool Whip.
  • Step 3
    Layer half EACH of the pudding mixture and grated chocolate in the crust; cover with remaining wafers. Drizzle with remaining coffee. Repeat layers of pudding and chocolate. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Refrigerate 3 hours.
