This is the only recipe my mother ever used for pies and pudding for us kids on the farm. She never used bought puddings. It is so easy and goooooooood!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 can large canned milk
- 2 - eggs, beaten with fork
- 1/2 stick margarine or butter
- 3 tablespoons powdered cocoa (for chocolate)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 can water
How To Make easy texas puddin

Step 1Mix flour and sugar. If making chocolate, add the powdered chocolate to first two ingredients. Gradually stir in large can of milk and large can of water. Cook over low heat until thickened. Whip eggs, add dab of pudding at a time into eggs, beating after each addition. Then stir eggs into pudding. Cook for 2 minutes. Take off heat and add margarine and vanilla. Pour into bowls or pie crust.
