How to Make Easy Key Lime pie
- Separate yolk for pie and retain whites for meringue in small bowl. Place crust in oven while preheating (350) for apprx 10 mins this will keep it crsip.
- Beat eggs on med speed while adding sugar, condensed milk and lime juice.
- Pour into crust. Top with meringue and bake until top is brown. About 25 mins.
- Meringue: Beat whites on high speed, add 1 tablespoon sugar and a 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar. Beat until peaks form then drop on pie creating peaks with spoon.
