Ingredients
- 1 medium store bought roasted chicken
- 2 sticks carrots sliced
- 2 - celery stalks sliced
- 3 medium potatos diced
- 1 1/2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 packages refrigerated pie crust
- 1 medium onion diced
- - salt and pepper
- 1/2-1 cup milk
- 1/4 stick butter
How To Make easy homemade chicken potpie

Step 1Peel and dice potato and carrots and boil until soft drain and set aside

Step 2Open one package of pie crust to use as the bottom crust. place in oven safe pan and bake 5-10 minutes

Step 3Saute onions and celery until soft

Step 4Meanwhile take meat off of bone of chicken and chop into bite size pieces

Step 5Mix chicken, cream of chicken, peas and onion and celery mixture. Add potato's and carrots add milk to thin out soup. season with salt and pepper

Step 6Pour into cooked pie crust, cover with second pie crust, pinch edges, brush with melted butter and cut 3 slits on to.

Step 7Bake until center is hot and top is brown.
