This is my own original recipe. It is easy and sooo good! Great for summer. It is also great with orange sherbert and orange peel too!

Ingredients

  • CRUST
  • 1 1/2 cups pretzel crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups gramham cracker crumbs
  • 5 teaspoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • FILING
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 16 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime flavored tequila (optional)
  • 1 quart lime flavored sherbert, softened
  • 1 - grated lime peel

How To Make easy frozen margarita pie

  • Step 1
In food processor, grind pretzels and graham crackers so that you have 3 cups total. Mix melted butter and sugar to pretzels and graham cracker mixture. Press into the bottom and halfway up sides of a greased 9” or 10” spring form pan. Bake in a 325° oven for 10 to 12 minutes or just until edges are lightly golden brown. Remove from oven to cool.
  • Step 2
In a large bowl with electric mixer mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and whipped topping until smooth. Add tequila, grated lime peel and sherbet and mix until thoroughly combined and smooth.
  • Step 3
Pour mixture into cooled crust. Cover top and freeze at least six hours. Garnish with thin slices of lime and additional whipped topping if desired. Enjoy!
