  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup softened butter or oleo

How To Make easy apple crisp

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel, core and thinly slice the apples. In a large pan, toss the apples with the brown sugar, corn syrup and lemon juice. Cover and cook over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes, until apples are softened. Spoon apples into a lightly greased 9-inch pie plate and set aside.
  • Step 2
In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, mixing together with a fork until crumbly. Spread evenly on top of apples. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is crisp and golden brown.
  • Step 3
