Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh blueberries-rinsed and drained
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup heavy cream cold
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 - 9" unbaked pie shell

How To Make dutch blueberry cream pie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 425*. Place rack in middle of oven
  • Step 2
    Fill pie shell with blueberries evenly distributed
  • Step 3
    Combine and mix all ingredients and pour over blueberries
  • Step 4
    Bake 45 mins til lightly brown.
  • Step 5
    Cool one hour then chill in refrigerator 2-3 hours before cutting.
  • Step 6
    Serve with uncooked berries on top or to the side of each slice and a large dollop of whipped cream.
