Ingredients

  • 4 c
    fresh blueberries-rinsed and drained
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 c
    heavy cream cold
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1
    9" unbaked pie shell

How to Make Dutch Blueberry Cream Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven 425*. Place rack in middle of oven
  2. Fill pie shell with blueberries evenly distributed
  3. Combine and mix all ingredients and pour over blueberries
  4. Bake 45 mins til lightly brown.
  5. Cool one hour then chill in refrigerator 2-3 hours before cutting.
  6. Serve with uncooked berries on top or to the side of each slice and a large dollop of whipped cream.
