fresh blueberries-rinsed and drained
2/3 c
sugar
1/4 c
all purpose flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
nutmeg
1 c
heavy cream cold
1 tsp
vanilla

9" unbaked pie shell

How to Make Dutch Blueberry Cream Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven 425*. Place rack in middle of oven
  • 2Fill pie shell with blueberries evenly distributed
  • 3Combine and mix all ingredients and pour over blueberries
  • 4Bake 45 mins til lightly brown.
  • 5Cool one hour then chill in refrigerator 2-3 hours before cutting.
  • 6Serve with uncooked berries on top or to the side of each slice and a large dollop of whipped cream.
