Ingredients

  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1/2 c
    karo or any thick syrup
  • 1 c
    pecans
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1
    9 inch pie shell

How to Make Donna's Pecan Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. While butter is melting in microwave in a small bowl, mix sugar, eggs and syrup & vanilla in a medium size bowl till blended.
  2. Take butter from microwave and add to the pie mixture making sure butter is cooled before mixing.
  3. Pour into 9 inch pie shell
    350 degrees for 5 minutes then turn the oven down to 300 degrees for 50 minutes to finish baking.
    Cool and serve. Delicious with whipped cream on top or vanilla ice cream.
