I found this handwritten recipe (my mom's writing) tucked in an old All-Maine Cooking cookbook. I have never made it, but posting it for Kristi Luce who is looking for a home made Mincemeat recipe. I did notice that it uses Suet (I think I'd look for an alternative, but they do sell it in the grocery store). If you use this recipe, Kristi, please let us know how it came out.

2Note: in the ingredients under the 9 lbs of unpeeled apples, etc., a note of 2 lbs of mixed peels. Wow, this must make a lot of mincemeat. I'm going on a search for a smaller and more informative recipe, but thought you might enjoy reading this one.
