Found a recipe like this years ago and have been making my own version of it ever since I lost the clipping from back then.

Ingredients

1 - graham cracker pie crust
CREAM CHEESE LAYER
4 ounces cream cheese
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
PUMPKIN LAYER
3 1/2 ounces (the samll box) instant vanilla pudding
1 can whole milk
1 - thawed container of pumpkin pie filling (see my recipe for fresh frozen pumpkin pie filling)
- or
15 ounces pumpkin
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make delightful cream cheese pumpkin pie

Step 1

Whip together the cream cheese, sugar, and cream.

Step 2

Spread cream cheese mixture evenly in the graham cracker crust. And place in refrigerator 5-10 minutes while you mix the pumpkin layer.
Step 3

Combine remaining ingredients and spread evenly over the cream cheese layer in pie crust. Refrigerate 8-10 hours.
