Been making this particular pie myself for over 30 years. Never had leftovers and everyone just loves it. I'm sure we all have special dishes like this.

Ingredients
- 1 - 9" unbaked pie shell
- 3 medium eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
How To Make deep south pecan pie

Step 1Set oven to 350 degrees Beat eggs, add corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla. Blend well. Combine sugar and flour then add to egg mixture. Add pecans and pour into pie shell. Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
