Ingredients
- 1 - pie pastry, prepared (your own or store bought)
- 3 cups fresh or frozen blackberries, thawed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Step 1Place blackberries in a bowl. Combine sugar and cornstarch; sprinkle over berries. Add lemon juice and toss to coat. Spoon into a greased 1-quart baking dish.

Step 2Cover filling with crust, sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on wire rack.
