deep dish apple pie
This was my grandmother's recipe. It is an old recipe but never goes out of style. I remember walking into her house when she was baking them and just feeling warm all over.. She always sat me on the counter to "help".. She is gone now but she will always live through her recipes. I did tweek it a little bit using a different type of apple and refrigerated pie crusts.
