Ingredients
- BUTTER PASTRY
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 large egg yolk
- RUB MIXTURE UNTIL EVEN TEXTURED. STIR IN 1 EGG YOLK UNTIL BLENDED.. THEN WORK WITH HANDS UNTIL SMOOTH BALL. PRESS DOUGH EVENLY OVER BOTTOM AND 1/2 IN. UP THE SIDES OF 10 INCH PIE PLATE. BAKE AT 350* FOR 30 MINUTES
- FILLING:
- 8 OZ packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can pumpkin (16oz)
How To Make daddy's pumpkin cheese pie

Step 1beat cream cheese with sugar and spices till smooth. Blend in eggs, then add the pumpkin and mix well.

Step 2pour into 10 inch pastry shell and Bake at 325* for 35 minutes. remove from oven and spread with sour cream topping over filling. Bake to minutes more

Step 3Cool. then cover and chill. garnish with pecan halves around the edge of top of pie.

Step 4Sour cream topping: mix 1 cup sour cream 6 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla xoxo thanks daddy. enjoy !
