How to Make Custard Pie
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar. Beat in vanilla, salt and nutmeg. Stir in milk. Pour into crust. Spinkle top with a little bit of nutmeg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for 35 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is set. Knife inserted near center comes out clean.
