How to Make Crust for Chess Pie
- Sift the dry ingredients together.
- In a medium size bowl; cut-in the shortening in the flour mixture until mixture resembles course crumbs.
- Add water a tablespoon at a time until dampened. Form into a ball
- Roll out on a lightly floured board or cloth.
Place in a 9 inch pie plate. Add chess pie mixture and bake according to pie directions.
