How to Make Crust for Chess Pie
- 1Sift the dry ingredients together.
- 2In a medium size bowl; cut-in the shortening in the flour mixture until mixture resembles course crumbs.
- 3Add water a tablespoon at a time until dampened. Form into a ball
- 4Roll out on a lightly floured board or cloth.
Place in a 9 inch pie plate. Add chess pie mixture and bake according to pie directions.
