My ex-mother-in-law used to make this. I love it. I have seen a similar pie in a cafeteria we used to go to, it has been a long time, though. I hope you like it, too! There is no crust to worry about with this recipe, either.

Ingredients
- 3 large egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 20 - ritz crackers, crumbled to pieces, not crumbs though
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- - sweetened whipped cream for topping
How To Make crunchy "pie"

Step 1Preheat oven to 300. Butter a pie pan.

Step 2Beat egg whites, sugar, and vanilla until stiff. Fold in crackers and pecans.

Step 3Pour mixture into pie pan and bake for 30 minutes. Cool completely. Cut and top each individual piece with whipped cream. Don't store with whipped cream on it, it may get mushy on you.
