When I was a teenager one of the women from our church brought this pie to one of the potlucks and it has been my favorite every since. I love the blend of spices and the creamy consistancy of the pie.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon mace
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1&1/4 cup pumpkin
- 1 cup milk, 2% or whole
- 1 cup canned milk (evaporated milk)
How To Make creamy pumpkin pie

Step 1Blend sugars, spices and salt. Add eggs and mix. Stir in vanilla and pumpkin.

Step 2Heat milk to scalding, cool a bit and add to pumpkin mixture, mix well.

Step 3Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake in 425 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and bake until center is firm (about 20-30 min).
