1In a large bowl,beat the cream cheese, sugar, salt and spices until blended and fluffy.
2Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each.
Beat in pumpkin and vanilla.
3Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350* F. for 55-60 minutes until knifee inserted in ceter comes out clean.
4During last 10 to 15 minutes of baking add pecan halves around the edge for garnish Cool on a wire rack and then chill in fridge for 3-4 hours. Serve with whipped cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg
