I found this on the internet & it looks alot like something my grandmother made.

Ingredients
- 1 - egg, separated
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 packages crescent dinner rolls
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
How To Make cream cheese pastry

Step 1Combine egg yolk, vanilla, cream cheese, 1 tablespoon milk, sugar and beat until smooth.

Step 2In a 9 X 13 baking dish, press 1 package of crescent rolls in the bottom and seal cracks.

Step 3Pour cream cheese mixture over top.

Step 4Take other package of crescent rolls and roll out on wax paper until smooth.

Step 5Beat egg white until frothy with a fork.

Step 6Brush top of pastry with beaten egg white.

Step 7Bake for 30 minutes at 350.

Step 8For topping, mix confectioners' sugar and 2 tablespoons milk until smooth.

Step 9While the pastry is still warm, spread topping over the top.
