A differnt pie for the holidays. Again not one of my own....but it looks so simple and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 - refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

How To Make cranberry walnut pie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325. Fit the pastry in a 9" pie pan. Spread cranberries and walnuts evenly over crust and sprinkle with brown sugar. In a bowl , beat the egg, sugar, flour, and butter. Pour evenly over pie to form a crust. Bake 40-45 minutes. Serve with a topping or sauce if you like.
