How To Make valentine's cranberry&darkchocolate pannacotta pie

  • Step 1
Take all the crust ingredients and combine in a bowl. I like to mix with my hands. Then press into the bottom and sides of a greased, ceramic pie dish.
  • Step 2
Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Then remove and set aside.
  • Step 3
In one small pot, combine water, cranberries, sugar, brown sugar. Cook for 5 minutes on med.
  • Step 4
Then add chocolate and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
  • Step 5
When removed from heat, add rum. Set mixture aside. If you like a less strong rum taste, add with the chocolate and let it cook out some.
  • Step 6
In another pot, add heavy cream and gelatin. Keep on a low heat and just until the gelatin mixes into the cream.
  • Step 7
Then add the cream mixture to the chocolate cranberry mixture, and pour into the cooled pie crust.
  • Step 8
Refrigerate overnight. Serve with whipped cream. Best with either coffee or Earl Grey tea.
