How to Make Coconut Pie
- 1Heat milk to boiling point. Add yolks, sugar, salt and coconut together. Add a little of the hot milk to the egg mixture, stir well, then pour into boiling milk stirring constantly. Cook until thick. Place in baked pie shell. Beat egg whites with 3 tablespoons sugar until stiff and pile on top of pie. Bake in oven 350 degrees until light brown. I also sprinkled a little coconut on top before baking it.
