Ingredients
- 1 - unbaked deep dish pie crust
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 2 2/3 cups 2% milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
How To Make coconut custard pie

Step 1Line edges of pie shell with heavy-duty foil and bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes.

Step 2Remove foil and sprinkle coconut over bottom of shell. Lower oven temperature to 350.

Step 3Combine eggs, milk, sugar, flour, vanilla and salt. Pour over coconut and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until it's set in the middle.
