unbaked deep dish pie crust
1 c
flaked coconut
3
eggs, beaten
2 2/3 c
2% milk
2/3 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
flour
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
nutmeg

How to Make Coconut Custard Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Line edges of pie shell with heavy-duty foil and bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes.
  • 2Remove foil and sprinkle coconut over bottom of shell. Lower oven temperature to 350.
  • 3Combine eggs, milk, sugar, flour, vanilla and salt. Pour over coconut and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until it's set in the middle.
