Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 3 medium eggs
- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut, plus 2 tablespoons toasted for garnish
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 package (14 oz) coconut cookies
- 1 - (12 0z) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
How To Make coconut cream pie trifle

Step 1in a medium saucepan, whisk together milk, eggs, 1 cup coconut, sugar, flour, butter, vanilla and salt. cook over medium heat 5-7 minutes or until thickened. let cool.

Step 2layer the bottom of a dessert bowl with half the cookies, half the pudding, and half the whipped topping. repeat layers. sprinkle with toasted coconut. cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
