This pie can be made with or without the coconut. It's great either way! My mother used to make this pie, and our entire family greatly enjoyed it. I hope you do, too.

Ingredients

4
egg yolks
1
whole egg
2 c
white sugar
2 Tbsp
all-purpose flour
1 c
flaked coconut (optional)
1/2 c
butter
1 c
sweet milk

Step-By-Step

1In medium bowl, beat egg yolks and egg together.
2Add remaining ingredients in with egg mixture. Mix together thoroughly.
3Pour into uncooked pie shell.
4Bake in 350-degree preheated oven until set and browned, about 1 hour.
