This pie can be made with or without the coconut. It's great either way! My mother used to make this pie, and our entire family greatly enjoyed it. I hope you do, too.

Ingredients
- 4 - egg yolks
- 1 - whole egg
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup flaked coconut (optional)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sweet milk
How To Make coconut chess pie

Step 1In medium bowl, beat egg yolks and egg together.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients in with egg mixture. Mix together thoroughly.

Step 3Pour into uncooked pie shell.

Step 4Bake in 350-degree preheated oven until set and browned, about 1 hour.
