A rich and fantastic dessert. I got this from a friend when i was a child in the late 70's. My mom would fix it ever so often and it would all be gone in a couple of days....One of my favorite recipes!!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 7 ounces coconut, shredded
- 1/2 cup pecans,chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 14 ounces condensed milk
- 16 ounces cool whip
- 2 - graham cracker pie crust
- 12 ounces caramel ice cream topping
How To Make coconut caramel pie

Step 1Melt butter in skillet. Add coconut and pecans and cook until brown. Combine cream cheese and milk,beat until smooth, then fold in cool whip. layer in crust, cream cheese mixture,caramel topping and coconut pecan mixture.Store in freezer until 5 minutes before serving. Very rich.
