Who doesn't love a pumpkin pie??
Made this pie for our thanksgiving weekend with the sugar sweet pumpkins from our garden.
Gave it a face for a festive fall feel. Enjoy!!

Ingredients

    9 inch pie crust
  • 2 c
    prepared cooked pumpkin...i used fresh but canned is ok too
  • 1 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    pumpkin pie spices
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • 1/8 tsp
    cloves

How to Make Classic Pumpkin Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients except pie crust; mix well.Pour into pie crust;bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.Lower temperature to 350 and bake 45 minutes or until set.
    Serve with whipped cream.
