    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    karo light or dark corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp
    mazola margarine or butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c
    pecans
  • 1
    **9 inch unbaked or frozen deep dish pie crust

How to Make CLASSIC PECAN PIE

Step-by-Step

  1. **TO USE PREPARED FROZEN PIE CRUST: USE 9 INCH DEEP DISH PIE CRUST. DO NOT THAW. PREHEAT OVEN AND A COOKIE SHEET. POUR FILLING INTO FROZEN CRUST; BAKE ON COOKIE SHEET. ( INSULATED COOKIE SHEET IS NOT RECOMMENDED )
  2. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 F
  3. IN LARGE BOWL STIR FIRST 5 INGREDIENTS UNTIL WELL BLENDED. STIR IN PECANS. POUR INTO PIE CRUST
  4. BAKE 50 TO 55 MINUTES OR UNTIL KNIFE INSERTED HALF WAY BETWEEN CENTER AND EDGE COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL ON WIRE RACK.
