cinnamon peach cobbler pie

This is my Husbands Favorite Winter time sweet treat, when baking,it fills the house with warmth and gathers my kids in the kitchen. I love this Recipe because its so fast and easy to make,and great for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 2 cans (15 1/4 oz each) peach halves, drained & patted dry
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste
  • 2 - egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

How To Make cinnamon peach cobbler pie

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder- cut in butter until cumbly, press into bottom and up the sides of a GREASED 9in pie pan or spring form pan. Place on a baking sheet. Arrange peaches in crust cut side up. combine dark brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over peaches- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
  • Step 2
    In a medium bowl beat egg yolks and cream together with a wire wisk- pour over peaches and bake for 25 to 30 min longer or until top is set, cool on wire rack lightly sprinkle with cinnamon....Refridgerate Leftovers
