  • 1 can(s)
    (12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 2
    large egg yolks
  • 1 pkg
    (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Satin Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Whisk together evaporated milk and egg yolks in a medium saucepan.
    Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is very hot and thickens slightly; do not boil.
    Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until completely melted and mixture is smooth.
  2. Pour into crust; refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
    Top with whipped cream before serving; sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped nuts.
