  Slightly beat egg yolks. Add milk, flour, sugar and cocoa Mix well, heat on medium heat stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat,add butter and vanilla mix well. Pour filling into baked pie shell.

  Beat egg whites with a pinch of cream of tartar beat until stiff peaks form, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and beat a few minutes more. Spread on filling and bake until brown.
