This is a chocolate and pecan lovers dream pie. It has the best of both worlds in one delicious pie.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2/3 cup corn syrup, light
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons a/p flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole pecans
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 9 inch - pie crust, chilled

How To Make chocolate pecan pie

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350 degrees Place sheet pan on second lowest rack when preheating oven
  • Step 2
    Whisk together butter, sugar, corn syrup, coffee liqueur, vanilla, flour and cinnamon
  • Step 3
    add eggs and mix well
  • Step 4
    Place on heated sheet pan. Bake 50-60 minutes, until golden and puffed all over.Check after 40 minutes. Foil crust if needed. Cool a minimum of 2 hours.
