Ingredients
- 2 ounces chocolate, unsweetened squares
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 - 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 3 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 1-2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 - unbaked pastry for a 10-inch pie shell, or 2 (8-inch) pie shells
- - pecans (halved or coarsely chopped)
How To Make chocolate pecan pie

Step 1melt chocolate with butter in saucepan

Step 2combine condensed milk, sugar and salt, stir in eggs. add chocolate mixture and beat well

Step 3stir in vanilla

Step 4pour into unbaked pie shell which has been covered with pecans.

Step 5bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees.

Step 6reduce heat to 300 degrees, and bake 45 minutes.

Step 7store in refrigerator.
